LaCie ships new products

LaCie has released a new series of hard drive bags, while expanding its line of USB Hubs. The new USB Hubs consists of the Core4 and the Core7, each designed to add multiple USB ports to a user's computer. The three-model series of hard drive bags are intended to provide different levels of Hard Drive protection.

The Core4 provides two built-in cables that connect a computer to mobile devices. The body of the device houses four USB 2.0 ports. The Core7 incorporates the same two cords, but instead features seven USB 2.0 ports.

The hard drive bags include the Coat, Cover, and Cozy models. The Cover houses either a 2.5-inch hard drive or a 3.5-inch hard drive, while the Coat and the Cozy are each available in 2.5- and 3.5-inch versions. The Coat and Cover bags are both hard drive sleeves. The Cozy features a memory foam liner and EVA-protected outer layer. The Coat is available in black, gray, red and orange, while the Cozy is available in black, gray and red. The Cover is only available in gray.

The LaCie Core4 and Core 7 can be purchased for $10 and $20, respectively. The LaCie Coat 2.5 costs $12, while the Coat 3.5 costs $16. The LaCie Cover carries a price of $8, or the Cozy 2.5 and 3.5 can be purchased for $15 or $20, respectively. All of the products can be purchased directly from LaCie.
