IK StealthPedal on sale

IK Multimedia is rolling out the StealthPedal, a USB interface and MIDI controller in a wah-style pedal. Intended for guitar and bass players, the pedal-and-switch combo connects an instrument to a computer while providing parameter control for software. Features include two balanced/unbalanced audio inputs, a low-noise input stage, and 24-bit A/D or D/A conversion.

The hardware is Mac and PC compatible, and supported by any piece of amp or FX modeling software with MIDI control. External double switch and expression pedal inputs are present, along with an assignable volume control and a headphone output. A bundle of guitar, bass and recording software is included.

Standard and deluxe versions of the StealthPedal area available, priced at $270 for the former and $450 for the latter. The regular version comes with AmpliTube 2 Live, Ampeg SVX Uno, AmpliTube X-Gear, RiffWorks T4, and AmpliGrooves Jam Loops. The Deluxe package features the same software, adding full versions of Ampeg SVX and AmpliTube 2. Mac OS X 10.4 is required.
