DiscLabel 6 shipping

Eighty new templates, along with new design tools, have been added to SmileOnMyMac's DiscLabel 6 update. Twenty of the new templates are geared specifically for professional or business use, with several designs for music and special occasions. Version 6 adds a montage tool for combining photos and applying the results to various design elements. The application's interface has been simplified, while a number of options have been added to the image import palate. The inspector and random-generator palates have also been improved for ease of use.

The disc-labeling software supports track-list import from iTunes, iPhoto and other sources, and supports art import from iPhoto, Aperture and iTunes. Over 1300 clip-art files and over 150 templates are included. The software supports printing to labels, printable CDs and DVDs and LightScribe technology.

DiscLabel 6 requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher and costs $36, with a five-computer family pack available for $55.
