HoudahSpot 2.5 released
Houdah has released v2.5 of its HoudahSpot utility. The software initiates detailed searches of a person's computer, using a variety of file attributes. Results can be sorted through multiple columns, and examined closely using Quick Look. Custom search parameters can be set to launch as defaults.
New to the update is the ability to find any text within a document, whether inside the main content or its summary information. The app can now also display results in two new views, grid and Cover Flow. The upgrade is free for all currently-registered HoudahSpot users. The complete version of the program can be bought for $25.
