baKno launches Punk Trader
baKno has released a new game, PunkTrader 1.0, that focuses on the stock market and uses actual historical data for gamers to test their trading abilities. The game picks a stock and places the gamer at 9:30 a.m. on a random day in the past five years. Players must battle the market, buying and selling with profit as the objective. Trade volumes and averages, such as industry, exponential and moving averages, give the player indications of when to buy or sell.
The game provides three modes of play including Qiuck Play, Training and Career. Career mode allows players to accumulate profit over multiple games on baKno's servers, and compete on the leader-board.
PunkTrader 1.0 requires Mac OS X 10.2.0 or higher and runs on PowerPC- and Intel-based systems. The game sells for $20 with a single license, or $30 with a double license.
