Zurich Apple Store opening
The grand opening of Apple's latest store in Switzerland has drawn large crowds, as shown in images posted by the Italian Mac-enthusiast site Macitynet. The building, located at 77 Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich, offers over 4,300 square feet of space and employs 70 staff members. The layout is split between two levels, with unique utilization of the below-ground area for a Genius Bar. Following the typical Apple Store design, the architects integrated a large proportion of glass and stainless steel.
The Zurich location establishes the 255th Apple Store overall, and the third in Switzerland. Customers can also visit stores in Geneva or Wallisellen.

It's fun going into an Apple Store whether I buy something or not, and I have. I never had that feeling of FUN when in Circuit City or even Best Buy. The toys there look like they've come out of a clone oven with little changes here and there... really yawn material.

The critics can "b****" all they want about Apple Fanboys but people don't line up like that unless Apple is giving them something that they want. Quality, aesthetics and a unique end user experience all play a role in this.

It's all fanboys. You can go to the apple store at any point. Only the fanboys wait in line to go inside. They want to be 'part of the experience'. "Oooooh. Look, I wasted 5 hours of my life to go into an Apple store to look around and not buy anything!"
