Previously, Trimble Nomad was offered only with Linux or Windows Mobile 6.0 software.

The Trimble Nomad 800B with Google Android 1.5 software development kit (SDK) is priced at $1,274. A Nomad 800XE tops out at $2,249. Qualifying developers have the option of purchasing the mobile computing systems from SDG until the end of July. [via MobileBurn]
