updated 12:00 pm EDT, Fri May 22, 2009

3D Issue released for Mac

3D Issue has released the first Mac-compatible version of its digital magazine production software, which converts PDFs into interactive digital booklets that can then be shared over the Internet. The new program is said to be much faster than the Windows version, able to convert a 200-page PDF file in approximately 90 seconds. Users can also analyze statistics, tracking up to 40 different reader figures such as the popularity of ads, articles and searches.

The software is available from the 3D Issue in a variety of packages. A single LITE package is selling for $555, while a Gold Professional package costs $2,132.
