iDeskCal 2.0 released

HashBang Industries has released iDeskCal 2.0, a rebrand of Desktop Remind. The software embeds the user's iCal calendar to the computer desktop. The interface can be placed anywhere on the desktop, while remaining above the wallpaper and below icons and running applications.

The upgrade offers improvements to font configuration, to-do list management, and key board shortcuts. iDeskCal includes a new interface that builds on its predecessor, Desktop Remind. Users can connect multiple monitors and view the calendar on each.

iDeskcal requires Mac OS X 10.5 and can be purchased from the HashBang Industries website for $13. Customers that purchased Desktop Remind within the past two months are eligible for a free upgrade, while earlier purchasers qualify for a discount if they choose to upgrade the application.
