BravoBug has released BravoTunes, a new add-on for iTunes. The tool displays scrolling track information from iTunes within the Mac OS X Menu Bar, and includes controls used to pause and switch tracks, or change shuffle and repeat settings. Users can also replace their current iTunes Dock icon with the one for BravoTunes, and set the program to launch both apps simultaneously.

Additional functions include visual time tracking, and options for adjusting the utility's performance footprint, as well as fonts, size, style, scrolling speed and track information. The time indicator displays the amount of time left on a song using either a pie or bar chart.

BravoTunes is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 or later, and is free to download from the BravoBug website.
