Upcoming OpTime driver

In brief: MV Pro Audio has release a new software bundle that includes three of its Amp Room applications for $160 less than purchasing them separately. The three applications allow users to replicate famous amp sounds that helped define rock and metal music. Crap, I Missed it! has announced that its new iTunes-library web-tool is now operational. The web tool can analyze a users music collection and then provides e-mail or RSS notifications when their favorite artists are touring in the area or about to release a new album. Meanwhile, MacPractice and Soredex are collaborating to create a drive that will allow the OpTime x-ray system to work with a MacPractice DSS.

MV Pro Audio has announced the release of a new Amp Room Bundle which includes its Vintage Amp Room, Metal Amp Room, and Bass Amp Room plug-in suites. Vintage Amp Room features three classic amps that helped define the sound of rock and roll, while Metal Amp Room includes amps designed for high gain and shredding. Bass Amp Room covers the gear needed for a solid low-end sound. All of the applications include multiple cabinets and configurable microphones, along with interfaces designed to emulate gear used in a studio setting. The Amp Room Bundle can be purchased from any of MV Pro Audio's dealers for $500, a total savings of $160 compared to buying the software separately.

Crap, I missed it! has launched a new web application that allows users to upload information from their iTunes library and then receive e-mail or RSS notifications related to their favorite artists. The company has offered a basic version of this service for a couple of months, but until now users were required to manually enter their favorite artists one-by-one. The new software analyzes the user's library and then ranks artists based on the number of tracks in the library, with a consideration for the number of times each has been listened to.

MacPractice and Soredex have formed a new partnership that aims to create a MacPractice DDS-compatible driver for Soredex’s OpTime digital intraoral x-ray, phosphor plate and chairside system. The OpTime system uses sensitive imaging-plate readout technology that is capable of achieving high quality images. The hardware is also able to automatically identify what size plate is currently in use, reducing the need for separate adapters and holders. To eliminate the need for additional employee training, the system utilizes the same techniques and holders required for film systems.
