Smart Scroll 3.0 ships

Marc Moini has launched Smart Scroll 3.0, an update to the scrolling utility that adds Mac OS X 10.5.7 and Safari 4 support. It also adds a new Hover Scroll feature for Cocoa applications, a "lift fingers to coast" trackpad option for Super Scroll, and new trigger options in Grab Scrolling. A new preference pane is present as well, complemented by settings which can be adjusted on a per-application basis.

Support has additionally been expanded to cover the beta versions of Camino 2.0 and Firefox 3.5, while fixes have been put in place for Finder, iTunes and Mac OS X Tiger.

Smart Scroll is described as adding iPhone-style scrolling to the Mac, with the ability to throw, reverse and hover. Smart Scroll 3.0 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later and costs $20.
