iCollage scrapbook creator available for pre-order

iCollage pre-orders begin
Wondershare has announced its first piece of photo-editing software, iCollage. The program assists with various scrapbooking-like tasks, supplying templates not only for books but for calendars, CD covers, greeting cards, wallet photos and other designs. iCollage supports JPEG, PNG and TIFF files, which can be dragged and dropped into the app.
Photos can be edited, and effects added to fit the style of each scrapbook. iCollage offers several different output formats, including online sharing through a variety of means such as Facebook, Flickr and e-mail. iCollage can be pre-ordered from Wondershare's website for $20. The program will be released May 25th.

Looks nice but...
...I don't know why you would pre-order downloadable software. If there's a discount for pre-order I could see it, but other than that, what would be the reason to give someone your money early.
That said, it looks like a nice photo collage app.
