Calcline 2.0 offers redesigned interface, bug fixes

updated 04:50 pm EDT, Fri May 8, 2009

Calcline 2.0 ships

Tension Software has announced Calcline 2.0, an upgraded version of its mathematical tool for the Mac. Calcline relies on a C/Cocoa calculation engine to solve both simple and complex mathematical equations, while simultaneously displaying each step used. Users can specify an unlimited number of variable values, including alphanumeric ones.

In v2.0 the interface has been redesigned with a new layout, improvements have been made to the variables table, and a new Calc Log drawer table has been added. A series of bug fixes are also present. People can purchase the software at a cost of $20 per license; Mac OS X 10.5 or later is required.
