  • BurnAgain FS 1.3 ($22) is a multi-session CD/DVD burning utility. BurnAgain FS treats CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-RW and DVD+RW discs like hard drives, mounting them as a volume on the desktop for adding files, changing disc titles and "erasing" files by making them inaccessible. The 1.3 update adds the option to erase RW media and improves the integration with Mac OS X by always displaying an opened disk in the sidebar and on the desktop. The update also include several minor bug fixes. [Download - 6.7MB]

  • Apimac Timer 6.3 (free) combines a stopwatch, clock, alarm clock and countdown utility all into one application. Timer includes a log which is automatically updated when some event occurs and tickers that remind the user that a certain timer is running. Version 6.3 includes a new option that allows users to avoid seeing a warning box when quitting the application with a timer still running. [Download - 6.3MB]

  • PortAuthority 2.8 ($25) provides a graphical user interface for the MacPorts package management system, which is a command-line tool for installing and updating Unix-based applications. Using a combination of windows, icons, and menus, PortAuthority users can search, install, update, and remove MacPorts programs and the MacPorts infrastructure itself. The new release includes additional notifications to indicate activity. The dock icon now changes during a long-running process and system sounds are used to mark the beginning and end of activities. The update also includes several smaller bug fixes. [Download - 8.3MB]

  • Snowtape 0.4 (free) allows users to list to their favorite internet radio stations and record the stream at any point. The application can store thousands of stations to choose from and can filter the stations by categories such as genre or bandwidth. While recording a station Snowtape can automatically cut the recordings at audio track boundaries and can also identify and exclude commercials from recordings. The RadioURL.com web service has now been integrated into the software along with support for system wide hot keys. The update has also improved the album artwork search, added an option for limiting bandwidth, added Japanese and Italian localizations, and added a mini controller. [Download - 1.8MB]

  • EarthDesk 4.8 ($25) replaces the static desktop with an image of the Earth showing current sun, moon and city illumination, as well as real-time global cloud coverage. The application includes political, enhanced satellite and natural maps that can be zoomed at rate of 50% up to 400%. The update has increased the Living Earth resolution by 25% and includes several other small internal improvements. [Download - 7.2MB]
