Sprint firing staff for discussing Palm Pre

Sprint Fires Over Palm Pre

Sprint has started training its non-retail staff for the Palm Pre but has maintained such high secrecy that it's firing those in stores for discussing the device, according to a leak from inside the company. Those in its Business Unit have not only been in training for the past two weeks, according to preThinking, but have been able to use the Pre at home for their own testing purposes. However, "at least three" retail staffers have been fired for talking about the phone despite many of its details being publicly (if sometimes unofficially) available.

The news simultaneously supports mounting evidence of a June 7th release date, which would require training weeks in advance, as well as experiences with the heightened secrecy of Palm and Sprint surrounding the iPhone rival. Staff have never been allowed to let go of the devices at press events and are discouraged from letting the media even touch the device until launch.

    Palm Pre never be useful!

Palm Pre will be useless as the Google Android. It will never be better then the iPhone period. Sprint need to save some time and fire all its Staff and save the money of trying to compete with AT&T and the iPhone.
