A dedicated Santa Barbara, California Apple Store will open this Saturday, Apple has announced. The shop is located at 928 State Street near the Paseo Nuevo Shopping Center, and will host a grand opening event at 10AM. Regular store hours are scheduled for 10AM to 9PM between Monday and Saturday, and 11AM to 7PM on Sunday.
The storefront is described as a single-level affair inside a historic building, served by a covered sidewalk; the outside will also feature a mast-flown Apple flag. Demographics are primarily expected to be upscale, although the next closest Apple Store is over 50 miles away. The first 1,000 visitors should receive a t-shirt.
