AstoundStereo 2.0 released
GenAudio has released AstoundStereo 2.0. The program processes stereo audio from any applications running on a user's Mac, aiming to produce a significantly wider stereo image. It begins running whenever the computer is turned on, and uses an intensity slider to adjust the amount of stereo expansion.
Users can also select one of two listening modes, dedicated to large external speakers or else headphones and small speakers. AstoundStereo requires Mac OS X 1.5.1, and costs $20.

iWow! 3.0 already does
a pretty good job at modifying sounds as a plug-in for iTunes. With multiple fixed settings and a customizable setting it fills every user's needs.
