SousChef 1.2 released
Acacia Tree Software has released an update to its flagship application, SousChef. The update now supports the metric system, providing a choice for the preferred unit of measurement, while alternate ingredients can be found in a substitutions menu. Users can also type in items from their fridge to find recipes.
The program can be used in a number of ways, including as a grocery list, a digital cookbook or a voice-activated cooking assistant. Users can access an online recipe database with over 60,000 entries. The content is continually growing as users add their own concoctions to the catalogue of recipes.
SousChef 1.2 is immediately available for $30.
