SilverStack 1.5 update
Pomfort has released SilverStack 1.5, an update to the software that adds support for the ARRIRAW format of ARRI D-21 digital film cameras. The program provides tools for viewing, managing and exporting image sequences in various formats. The v1.5 update also includes improved metadata support from S.Two and Codex field recorders, enhancements for dailies workflow, and new filters for QuickTime work such as luminance sharpen. Other changes enable 16-bit TIFF export, and new aspect ratio settings for Hawk anamorphic lenses with x1.3 squeeze.
The app's interface has been enhanced, and movie settings can now be exchanged between workstations. Cinemator has meanwhile been given a command line render option for use in individual render environments. The ARRIRAW support includes all necessary image manipulation settings such as ASA, logC, and whitepoint adaption.
SilverStack 1.5 requires Mac OS X 10.5.6 and QuickTime 7.6. The suite comes in two editions: the $700 SilverStack HCD, and the $1,500 SilverStack HCD with ARRIRAW support.
