FreeForm offers mesh warping tools for After Effects

FreeForm AE released

Digieffects has released FreeForm AE, a plug-in for Adobe After Effects. The company aims to provide an alternative to dedicated 3D-meshing programs, as the utility operates from within Adobe After Effects and works without leaving the comp window. The plug-in provides warping tools that allow users to manipulate a flat object into numerous shapes using a mesh in a digital 3D space.

Users can bend, twist, shape and distort layers, with control over depth, dimensions and displacement. Dozens of presets are also available for quick editing.

FreeForm AE is compatible with After Effects CS3 or CS4 and is immediately available for $300.
