CuteClips 3 update
Briksoftware has launched an update to its clipboard-history application, CuteClips 3. The software works in the background and continuously record changes to the clipboard, which are then added to a log that users can access at a later date. Version 3 offers an improved interface that is designed to help make the application simpler to use, with a textual list of all clips and a detailed preview for viewing each clip. To prevent clips from accidental deletion, users can make clips sticky or assign shortcuts to them.
The program provides options to assign shortcuts, allowing clips to be pasted without having to search for them. Between 12 and 50 clips can be simultaneously tracked, while users can paste any clip in plain text, multiple clips in a row or only parts of a clip.
CuteClips 3 requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later and is priced at $15. Users can also download a 15-day trial version directly from the company.
