Peggle for iPhone on 12th
The iPhone version of Peggle should finally be released on May 12th, reports say. The game was originally set to debut through the App Store in March, but was delayed for reasons unknown. Little else is known about the port, except that it should be consistent with other versions.
Peggle takes its inspiration from games like Plinko and Breakout, and has players bounce a ball down from the top of the screen through a series of bumpers, with the aim of clearing them all out. Bumpers award points as they are hit, and can generate bonuses when hit in different combinations. Pricing for the iPhone version is unannounced, but will likely be several dollars.
