Simplify Music 2 update
Simplify Media has released Simplify Music 2.0, an update do its app for the iPhone and iPod touch that can be used to stream music from a home computer. The interface now provides a function to search for artist, album or title across every connected computer. Favorite tracks can be tagged from personal libraries or shared content. Users can also create playlists or use a scrub bar to move forward or back in a podcast or audio book.
The app works over Wi-Fi, EDGE or 3G networks, without the need to configure firewalls or routers. Content can be drawn from iTunes, Windows Media Player, Winamp and Rythmbox.
Simplify Media 2.0 is now available from the App Store for $3.

New Version of Simplify
I paid 99˘ for the iPhone original (1.2.2) version. This update costs $3 and is not worth it. The desktop server is free and the updated server works with the old iPhone version, giving most of the upgraded features, since I haven't found any of the new features that don't work with the old iPhone version.
