exZact data collection

Zerion Software has announced its exZact data collection tool for the iPhone and iPod touch, presented with the iFormBuilder web app at the OSDBU conference. exZact is used to collect data from mobile phones, and stores all forms, logic, and data locally in a device database. The exZact server is designed to handle large amounts of material, and comes with four layers of security configurable for different applications, such as password protection and local encryption. Additional security capabilities allow users to set up a data swipe which automatically deletes all information when the maximum login attempts are exceeded.

exZact is available in three versions: one for non-profit/advocacy groups, one for small businesses, and another for enterprise and government. The non-profit version allows users to create branded apps for surveys, petitions and donations. Small businesses can access a self-service, web-based administration tool, and can develop estimation, inventory control, time log and inspection forms. Lastly, the enterprise version is capable of integrating with various backend systems such as Oracle, SAP, SharePoint, TIBCO and IBM MQSeries, and helps distribute workforce automation and work order management.

exZact for non-profits and enterprises is available now, while the small business and mobile versions will be released and ready for download from the App Store within a month.
