In brief: Mariner Software has acquired and rebranded the ReceiptWallet software for Mac OS X, which is now known as Mariner Paperless. Unmarked software is celebrating its 11th anniversary with the release of TextSoap 6.2, an update to its text processing utility.

Mariner is set to release Mariner Paperless 1.0, after the company acquired and rebranded ReceiptWallet. Along with the rebranding, all sales, support, customer service and development will now be continued by Mariner. The application alows users to scan or import receipts or other varieties of paperwork, while optical character recognition (OCR) helps reorganize the content as PDFs.

For a limited time, FileMaker is offering FileMaker Themes Pack at no additional charge for customers purchasing FileMaker Pro 10. The Themes Pack includes a number of themes and layouts that can be used to create professional databases. The promotion is expires on June 25th.

For this week only, MacVide is taking 40-percent off the price of its FlashVideo Converter. The application can be used to convert Flash SWF and FLV files to formats including iPhone/iPod mp4, Mobile 3gp and MPEG2. The discount brings the price down to $60.

Unmarked software has released TextSoap 6.2, an update to its text processing utility for Mac OS X. The latest version offers smarten quotes in HTML text, a new keyboard-driven pop-up window and support for Entourage 2008 Script. Users can install the script via the plug-in preferences. Using the coupon code "HAPPY11U," customers receive an 11-percent discount to upgrade orders until April 25th. Regular upgrade prices start at $22.
