Myst for iPhone soon
A version of Myst for the iPhone and iPod touch is almost finished, says developer Cyan Worlds. The game is a recreation of the 1993 original for the Mac, which helped to popularize QuickTime and the CD-ROM format. All features are said to be intact, including the original graphics, environments, music and sound effects.
The iPhone version is enhanced with 32-bit rendering, and interface tweaks including an auto-zoom function and using swipes to turn. Players control an anonymous character suddenly brought to the island of Myst, where they must decide to help one of two brothers -- or neither -- by finding pages missing from a pair of "linking" books. The pages are scattered across various Ages, which can only be navigated by successfully solving puzzles.
The updated game is expected to be submitted to the App Store "very soon." Cyan warns that the title will not be a small download, as a result of including high-quality sounds, images and videos. No price levels have been hinted at.

So What...
What I'd really like is Myst (and the sequels) made available for the current OS X.
