Screenium 1.1 update
Synium has released an upgrade to its audio and video tool, Screenium 1.1. The latest version offers improvements to audio and video capturing, along with additional support for external video sources such as webcams. New mouse functions allow users to customize the action-visualization effects or the display of mouse button names. The program is also claimed to offer improvements to the performance and usability compared with earlier versions.
The library has been enhanced, along with new Dock activity indicators for “record,” “pause” and “camera active”. New exporting options can be used to create movies for YouTube or the iPhone and iPod touch. Spanish and Dutch localizations have been added to the previous list that included English, French, German, and Italian.
Screenium 1.1 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 or higher, and is a free update for current users. New owners can purchase the software from the company’s site for $30, or try the fully-featured demo version that supports recordings of up to 30-seconds.
