Evernote 1.4 (free) lets a user capture information in any environment using whatever device or platform is available. This information is then accessible and search able at anytime. The software can be used for creating notes that handle both text and audio and finding printed and handwritten text within images. Version 1.4 includes several new search keyboard shortcuts and a global new note shortcut. The update has also improved the format menu and fixed the option for changing notebooks from within the Extended Note area. MLB Schedule 2.7 (free) is a Dashboard widget that provides a quick look at any MLB baseball teams schedule. Users can choose any MLB team and the widget will then display a five day range of both completed and upcoming games. Each game includes information such as opponent, start time, and score. Version 2.9 has fixed an issue that occurs when using an alternate schedule source and also fixed some more uncaught game cases. [Download - 0.32MB]
QuickWho 1.1 ($20) provides a graphical interface to the built in Unix "whois" command which allows users to obtain details on particular Internet domain names. This allows users to gather information without needing the command line or having to open a web page first. The update includes an enhanced interface that features a toolbar and keyboard shortcuts. Hawkscope 0.6 (free) is a tool that allows users to access their hide drive contents from a dynamic menubar item. In the latest version plugins no longer break the Hawkscope menu and the ability to show or hide file extensions has been added.
