Apple refurbs: MacBooks
Apple's online store currently has a wide range of refurbished unibody MacBook and MacBook pro models to choose from. Starting at $1099 is the 2.0GHz MacBook with 2GB of memory and 160GB hard drive. Next up is the 2.4GHz model with 2GB of memory and 250GB hard drive for $1299. The same configuration with the addition of a 128GB Solid State Drive is priced at $600 more ($1899).
The 15.4-inch MacBook Pro's start at $1699 for 2GB of memory, 250GB hard drive and 2.4GHz processor. The next MBP model has a 2.53GHz processor, 4GB of memory and 320GB hard drive and is priced at $1999. The 2.8GHz model with 4GB of memory and 320GB hard drive is priced at $2299. Two MBPs with solid state storage upgrades are also on the list: the 2.53GHz model with 4GB of memory is $2549 and the 2.8GHz model with 4GB of memory is $2799.
