3D Invigorator design tool
Digital Anarchy, in collaboration with Zaxwerks, has announced a 3D design tool for use with Adobe Photoshop, 3D Invigorator. The plug-in can be used to create 3D logos, objects and text, with support for Adobe Illustrator outlines or text generated from within Photoshop. Users can customize graphics and choose from a variety of rendering styles. The created objects can be rotated and viewed in a full 3D environment, from specific angles, and individual elements can be rearranged as needed.
The plug-in includes over 100 different material presets, such as gold, chrome, glass, lacquer and puffy surfaces. Custom lighting can be added to make an art deco style, illuminate each text character or cover the whole project with a beam of light. Several of the rendering styles include wireframe, cartoon, flat shading and raytracing.
3D Invigorator is compatible with Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher and Photoshop CS2 through CS4, and can be purchased for an introductory price of $150 through April 30th. The plug-in will carry the regular price of $200 beginning May 1st.
