ImageBuddy 4 adds RAW file support via Core Image

updated 01:40 pm EDT, Mon April 6, 2009

ImageBuddy 4 update ships

RAW file support is the headline feature in Kepmad's ImageBuddy 4 update. The photo printing application now includes optional support for camera RAW formats using Apple's Core Image rendering engine. Imagebuddy is a digital image layout program that expands on iPhoto's limited printing options and supports Aperture as well. It offers options for cropping, resizing and rotating photos, and provides layout and design capabilities too.

Version 4 also added preview capabilities for RAW and DNG (Adobe's open RAW format) files and extends support for EXIF file information. ImageBuddy 4 is $20 and works with Mac OS X 10.4 and higher.
