Accounted 2.0 update
Oranged has released a major update to Accounted, its financial software aimed at businesses; the app is claimed to calculate a company's books without requiring any accounting knowledge. Version 2.0 of Accounted is said to include 50 new features, among the most important being two new reports. Profit & Loss tracks net income over a given period, while Cash Flow tracks general cash activity.
A new Tax Account type lets users monitor incoming and outgoing payments, using standard account types as a basis; the new one can also be integrated into split transactions. Exchange rates can meanwhile be synced via the Internet, saved on a per-item level, and/or imported from Studiometry. PayPal transactions can now be imported by copying and pasting rows from an account's History webpage.
Accounted 2.0 runs on Mac OS X 10.3 or later, and costs $80 new or $25 in upgrade form.
