iPhone apps: SplashPhoto, Agile, Day-n-Night

  • SplashPhoto ($5) allows users to sync photos between their iPhone or iPod touch and desktop computer. Within the application users can organize photos into albums, upload or download images from Flickr and Picasa and set up a password to keep the photos private. To sync wireless with a desktop users will also need to have the free SplashPhoto Desktop photo manager.

  • Agile Messenger ($10) is a multi-protocol instant messaging client that can access several instant messaging networks including, ICQ, AOL, Yahoo!, MSN, and GoogleTalk. Agile Messenger allows users to send text, voice and picture messages to any contact and also uses IM to Email forwarding to let a user know if they have received a message while using another application.

  • Day-n-Night ($2) displays a picture of the Earth that includes a combination of day and night images. The map is made up of high-resolution images from the NASA Visible Earth collection and is accompanied by a dynamic clock that shows the users local date and time.

  • Space Bikers ($3) is a game where players take on the role of a Space Biker who has crash landed on Earth and needs to find parts to fix their ship. Players maneuver their bike through different levels through the use of on screen buttons that can be moved to a players preference.

  • iSprout ($1) is a puzzle game where players have to guide a swarm of bumblebees through a web of flowers. The bees are attracted to nearby flowers where they will pick up that color of pollen. If the pollen is guided to a flower of the same color the branch will split and more flowers will blossom but if the bees are guided to the wrong flower it will whiter and die.
