Finesse at MetroPCS

Samsung's Finesse handset is now available for purchase on the MetroPCS website. The smartphone is the carrier's second-most expensive handset behind the BlackBerry Curve 8330 in red and is basically a re-branded version of the Samsung Delve offered by Alltel. While it resembles the Instinct, it lacks the touch buttons for call and menu functions.

The handset's specs include a touchscreen interface with a virtual QWERTY keyboard, an integrated MP3 player and a 2-megapixel camera with video capture. There is also stereo Bluetooth compatibility and the 150MB of built-in memory is complemented by a memory card slot.

The no-contract price is set at $349, though buyers will need to endure a wait of a few weeks before the devices start shipping. [via PhoneMag]

    samsung finesse

The Finesse is functionally similar to the Samsung Delve for Alltel and the Instinct for Sprint. Like the Delve, it has Samsung’s widget-based TouchWiz interface, though it isn’t a smart phone. The phone has a 3″, 240×400 touch screen and a 2-megapixel camera. It’s capable of running on 3G networks, though MetroPCS’s 3G rollout is spotty so far.
