Tactic 2.5 for Mac OS X


Southpaw Technology has released an update to its digital asset management application for the Mac OS X, Tactic 2.5. The software provides tools for creating and keeping track of projects, is designed to automate the processes between and within production departments, and enables a person to review both assigned tasks and work that’s been submitted. With the latest version the software can now index and track each component of every project, in order to help create an organized system that keeps track of all assets.

Other features make it possible to create and refine custom projects, for managers to track products at every stage, and creation and customization capabilities of views directly within the Tactic web interface.

Tactic 2.5 has a suggested retail price of $900 per user and includes all software upgrades and technical support for a year. Upgrades are purchasable at $185 per year.
