Zinc video browse update

ZeeVee has released a third beta version of its Zinc internet-video browser. The application is designed to run on a PC that is connected to a larger display or TV, enabling users to watch videos from the Internet and navigate the interface with a remote control. The update offers an expanded on-demand library, along with new content from Netflix and CBS. The available media now includes almost 15,000 movies and tens of thousands of TV shows.

The program also offers improved navigation to simplify the process of finding and watching a video. Detailed information such as show descriptions, release dates and ratings is available, while users can pick favorite shows or websites and receive notifications when new content is available.

Zinc is a free application and available either as a standalone program or a FireFox plug-in. A Mac version of the software is planned to be released by the end of April.
