ScreenCap, FlashVideo

  • iPrint 2.0 ($15) allows users to select data within an application that they would like to print. The selection of data can be done through the use of a keyboard shortcut or a popup Dock menu and allows users to print only the material they desire to print. A new Preferences window has been added which allows users to set a default option of always displaying both the Page Setup and Print dialog boxes, always bypassing both the Page Setup and Print dialog boxes, or displaying just the Print dialog box. The applications graphics have also been improved along with other small internal improvements. [Download - 1.5MB]

  • BannerZest 1.4 ($50) is a banner animation application that allows users to create flash animated banners. The software utilizes themes that work similar to templates, where a designer just needs to add their content and choose colors. BannerZest prepares all the necessary animations and users can then place the generated banners in any website builder such as Dreamweaver or Freeway. Version 1.4 has improved some of the existing themes and includes two new themes named Bouncy and Fading Grid. [Download - 16.5MB]

In this release abbreviations can now be set to expand when preceded by any character, including or excluding letters or numbers. The update also features new customization options, for example, users can now specify the Clipboard restore delay and the words-per-minute rate that is used to calculate how much time is saved by using TextExpander. ugh

It's apps like BannerZest that show why a flash-blocker is necessary - for sanity's sake.

      huh?

$100 for FlashVideo Converter? Visual Hub (rest in peace until it's resurrected) does so much more (many more formats in and out) for less than half the price.
