Prince of Persia for Mac

Online vendor GameTree Online says it has begun selling the Mac port of Prince of Persia, originally developed by Ubisoft. The game is an action-adventure title, in which players guide the Prince as he fights to restore the fertility of a deadened landscape. The player has to run, jump and swing through a variety of obstacles, engaging in the occasional swordfight along the way.

Aiding the player is Elika, who contributes magical powers in combat and in movement. The enchantress saves the player if they misjudge a leap, and will occasionally fly them through the air. The game requires Mac OS X 10.5.6, along with an Intel processor and either an ATI X1600 or NVIDIA GeForce 8600 video card. An 8GB download is available from GameTree for $50.
