LEGO Batman on Apr. 9th

Feral Interactive has announced a Mac conversion of LEGO Batman, scheduled to ship on April 9th. More closely based on the comic books than the movies, the game has players control Batman and Robin, as they confront traditional villains like the Joker and the Penguin in a LEGO version of Gotham City. As in other LEGO games, players can also build and control a number of vehicles.

A distinguishing feature is Batman's gadgets, which may help in fights and solving some of the game's occasional puzzles. LEGO Batman is slated to cost $40 when it arrives in North America, and will require an 1.8GHz Intel Mac along with Mac OS X 10.4.10, a DVD drive and a 128MB video card.
