Guitar Hero World Tour

Aspyr Media and Activision have announced Guitar Hero World Tour for PC and Mac. The music game features a new Music Studio that provides tools for creating digital music from scratch. The new wireless drum kit and guitar controllers can be used for game or studio input, and the studio compositions are available to play in the game. A Battle of the Bands mode now allows eight players to join online to compete.

The game offers 86 tracks from artists such as The Eagles, Van Halen, Metallica and The Doors, along with in-game appearances by Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Corgan and Travis Barker, among others.

Guitar Hero World Tour for PC and Mac will be available sometime this summer. The companies have not yet announced pricing information.
