Flash'in'App 2.0 update

Eltima Software has released Flash'in'App 2.0, an update to its Cocoa framework that enables developers to load and manage Adobe Flash movies in any application on the Mac. The software will support SWF files, manage their playback, and can handle sounds, videos, and images. The new version provides several added features that allow users to set Flash background color for playback, to customize the scaling option used to display the Flash movie, and the ability to set vertical and horizontal alignment within the player region.

In addition, the update has made changes to the zoom percent calculation, and makes it possible to set the root level variables to pass to Flash Player. Other features allow the creation of custom-shaped applications, and to distribute Flash-enabled desktop widgets and Flash games as compiled applications.

Compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 or higher, Flash'in'App 2.0 can be purchased from the company's website at $400 for a single license, $700 for a company license, and a source code license for $2000.
