ProVUE plug-in enables credit card transactions

ProVUE plug-in

ProVUE has released Panorama Authorize.Net Gateway, a new plug-in software package for the company’s Panorama database program. The plug-in enables merchant credit card processing, and can automatically support all types of charges, refunds, voids, and pre-authorized credit card transactions. When making a transaction, all credit card information is pulled directly from the users Panorama database and processed through an internet-based payment processing network, Authroize.Net.

Once the plug-in is added to the database the entire credit card transaction process is completely automatic when used on a server, with transactions being completed within seconds, according to the President of ProVUE development, James Rea.

The plug-in can be used with either single user copies of Panorama or with Panorama Enterprise, and supports Panorama Direct. A feature of the Enterprise option enables the use of the Panorama Authorize.Net Gateway from any of the user’s clients, or people on the server.

It is available for either desktop or web-based server applications and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or above, Panorama 5.5, and an account with Authorize.net. It can be purchased from the ProVUE website and is priced at $240 for a single user license or $400 for multi-user and web server applications.
