Civillization IV: Gold

Aspyr in partnership with 2K games, has released the strategy-game Sid Meier’s Civillization IV: Gold Edition for the Mac. The Gold Edition features both Civilization IV and the combat-focused Civilization IV: Warlords Expansion pack. In Civilization IV players lead a chosen nation from the year 4000 BC to the space age, in an attempt to take over the whole world. The latest edition of the Civilization series provides new tools and resources to help manage and expand the nation’s growth, multiplayer modes, and mod capabilities.

Civilization: Warlords is the games first expansions pack, it offers eight scenarios for players to choose from, and gives players a chance to change the course of history by using the new “warlord” unit. The expansion comes with more units, six added civilizations, ten new leaders, and provides more ways for users to expand their military power and take over the world.

Civillization IV: Gold Edition is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4.6 or higher, requires an ATI Radeon 9600 or GeForce FX 5200 video card, and is currently priced at $50.

    Don't bother buying...

I've been a regular Civ player for years and I gave up on the Mac version a couple years ago. I run it solely on Boot Camp now and the performance is spectacular.
