Mobile App Store listings broken, claim developers

App Store listings broken

Apple has been lax in fixing a significant issue with the mobile App Store, a number of developers allege. The storefront's Release Date category is said to have been stuck for approximately a week, without any word from Apple on when the issue might be resolved. Sorting by date continues to function within iTunes.

The issue is said to be especially critical for app vendors, as they may be depending on a continually-updated Release Date list in order to gain exposure. Though users can browse through apps manually, titles not highlighted on the App Store typically fail to sell as well as possible. Titles which enter the Top 100 category are in fact said to enter a self-perpetuating cycle, selling more downloads due to their earlier success.

No patience. Where is my money? How long did it take you to develop that app? Are you going to be able to retire on it? Is there even a remote chance it is useful?

    Bobfozz be still...

Bobfozz, first come up with an idea for an app and spend all your free time coding it. Then, you may earn the right to complain about developers wanting to get paid. Idiot.

    App totally disappeared

Our app Where To? totally disappeared from the App Store. It still can be found using the direct link (http://futuretap.com/whereto/buy) but disappeared from all listings. :-(
