Frameline 47 3.1 ships
Frameline has announced Frameline 47 3.1, an update to its video database application, focusing on increased speed, reliability and additional video networking functionality. Version 3.1 adds network database syncing, file checkout and the ability to capture to MPEG-4 at multiple resolutions, as well as support for JKL navigation and the ability to cancel and resume drive indexing. It also includes better clip filtering and options for ignoring certain filetypes.
Frameline provides for safe collaborative video access when using shared network storage, by enabling files to be dynamically checked in and out. Each version of the application functions as a server, without the need for an elaborate IT infrastructure. Version 3.1 is now available for $149, and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher.
