Moto QA4 passes FCC tests

The still unofficial Motorola Evoke QA4 is getting ever closer to a North American release, as it has recently gone through the prerequisite testing procedures at the FCC. The FCC documentation reveals the touchscreen phone will have assisted GPS functionality and stereo Bluetooth while confirming it will sport a tri-band CDMA radio. A camera of unknown megapixel count -- rumors have it at 2 megapixels -- will be integrated and capable of capturing videos.

Internal storage capacity is unknown, but a microUSB port will synchronize the device with computers while a microSD card slot will expand memory. EVDO 3G data networks will also be supported. The 2.8-inch touchscreen slides up to reveal a numeric keypad. The FCC paperwork also makes mention of Picasa and YouTube support, likely allowing users to quickly and easily upload their still and moving images to either site, though no other information is known.

No carriers have yet laid claim to the QA4, though its network support means major carrier support is limited to Sprint, Verizon and MetroPCS and other CDMA carriers. [via MobileBurn]
