Habits, Cropulator

  • FarFinder (free) allows users to log onto their Mac computer remotely and access files on any and all connected drives. Files can be saved to an iPhone and most can be opened and viewed on the devices itslef. FarFinder also supports Spotlight allowing users to search through all of their files. Additional features include displaying hidden files, showing file extensions and opening packages.

  • boxee remote (free) turns an iPhone or iPod touch into a wireless remote for a boxee media center. The application includes two different modes, Gesture and Buttons. In the Gesture mode users can perform actions by dragging the boxee logo around the screen while Buttons mode provides several buttons for control of the media center. The application works via a WiFi connection and also allows users to input text using the iPhone's Qwerty keyboard.

  • Whrrl (free) allows users to capture and share moments of their lives, as they happen, in a story-like format. By using location, photos and text updates, users can turn their everyday life experiences into stories that can be remembered, organized and shared. Users can choose who can see their story and can also allow the application to broadcast updates on Facebook and Twitter.

  • Habits ($2) is a tool that can help users get into good habits. One can enter the habits they wish to form and then the application will remind them when they should be doing these things. The application will then track how often you keep to the habit and users can see their current and longest streaks.

  • Cropulator ($1) is a tool for cropping and rotating images on an iPhone or iPod touch. The tool allows users to lock the aspect ratio when cropping and also includes tools for fine adjustments such as single degree rotations. Cropulator also allows editing to be performed in both landscape and portrait modes.
