Chelsio adds Mac support

Chelsio Communications has added Mac support to its line of 10-gigabit Ethernet adapters. The new NIC drivers work with the company's Unified Wire products which pass Fibre Channel, InfiniBand and LAN traffic across a single Ethernet cable. The devices are geared for server networking, storage networking and clustering. Mac support for Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI), offloaded iSCSI initiator and iWARP RDMA will be added later this year.

The NIC drivers are compatible with Mac OS X 10.5.2 or higher and can be obtained directly from the company or its distributors.
