  • Opacity 1.3 ($90) is a graphics creation utility that combines pixel and vector editors with Photoshop-like tools such as filters, layers and transforms. Version 1.3 adds an improved Pen Tool, improved Text editing, inside and outside stroke options, a new spiral tool and reduces the size of saved image .opacity files. [Download - 11.5MB]

  • VideoPier 1.2 ($50) allows users to import clips from their camcorders to a Mac without having to convert the original file. The imported clips are grouped by Events and can be viewed, organized or converted to any other format. The latest release is now compatible with more camcorders and offers support for several camcorders at the same time including the new Canon Vixia series which offer dual recording. The update also allows users to export to iMovie libraries on external disks. [Download - 2MB]

  • Troi Serial Plug-in 3.1 ($999) is a plug-in for FileMaker that gives users access to one or more of a computers serial ports. This allows users to read data from or write date to the serial points of the computer without the need for a separate application. The latest version has been made compatible with FileMaker 10 and is also now compatible to run under FileMaker Server as a server-side plug-in. A new Serial_VersionAutoUpdate function has also been added and several small bugs have been addressed. [Download - 2.1MB]

  • AdiumBook 1.5 (free) is a tool that allows users to sync their Adium contact list and their Apple Address Book. Version 1.5 has fixed several compatibility issues and now works with Adium 1.3 and higher. The update has also fixed the display of Adium pictures, added automatic software updates and simplified the About panel. [Download - 1.5MB]

  • Sponge 1.2 ($26) is a tool that allows users to clean up their Mac's hard drive. Sponge can locate all the applications that are installed on the system, where they are installed and how much spade they use up. Users can then browse the list and removed any unwanted applications right from Sponge. In the new version, Sponge is now capable of searching through the user's Documents, Downloads and Desktop folders for applications. The software also now provides estimates of how much space will be saved by removing duplicates. [Download - 1.2MB]
